Canberra is the capital city of Australia, located in the Australian Capital Territory.
History[edit]
During the diplomatic dispute involving Bart Simpson's prank calls, Canberra was identified as the political center of Australia. Official correspondence listed the Australian Prime Minister's address as "Office of the Prime Minister, Government Bldg. Suite 1, Canberra, Australia," and the city later became the location of both the Parliament-haus der Australia and the American Embassy in Australia, where the Simpson family stayed during negotiations with Australian authorities.
