Warren is an astronomer who worked at the Springfield Observatory during the comet crisis.

Warren and another astronomer were at the Springfield Observatory when Principal Skinner believed he had discovered a new celestial object through his telescope, which actually turned out to be a weather balloon (Buttzilla) during an early morning astronomy session. Warren was among the first astronomers to confirm the object's trajectory. When The Superfriends arrived to warn the staff about the approaching comet, he observed it through the main telescope and reacted with alarm upon realizing its potential impact.
