Hugh Hefner's Shelbyville Pad is a mansion in Shelbyville owned by Hugh Hefner.

History[edit]

Bart visited Hefner to invite him to appear on the Krusty Comeback Special. Hefner's mansion included the better-known grotto and game room, but few knew it also featured a laboratory, a biosphere, an alternative energy research center, and a desalination plant.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

Hugh Hefner's Shelbyville Pad is based on the Playboy Mansion in Westwood, Los Angeles, California which was where Hugh Hefner died in 2017 after being his home since 1971.
