History[edit]

While searching Shelbyville for Springfield's stolen lemon tree, Bart Simpson and his friends followed a trail of lemons into Manhattan Square, the town's central plaza. There, with the statue of founder Shelbyville Manhattan standing behind them, the group realized the trail had become difficult to follow. Bart then divided the children into smaller teams to cover more ground and continue the search across Shelbyville.
