The Blue-Haired Lawyer, is Springfield's most prominent lawyer known for his pasty face, blue hair, and nasal New York accent.
Work
He is one of Mr. Burns' lawyers. Many times, he has shown up when the Simpsons are in court (usually on the opponent's side) and quite often makes good points and wins over the judge.
He also occasionally appears to serve as a prosecutor. He worked for Luvum & Burnham.
He once served as both a trial and defense lawyer in the same case. [1]

He is a member of the Springfield Republican Party.

Behind the Laughter
Writers Al Jean and Mike Reiss have both stated on the DVD commentaries that the voice is based on McCarthy-era lawyer Roy Cohn, and animator Jim Reardon has said that he is designed to look like character actor Charles Lane.
