Cultural references[edit]

Opening sequence[edit]

  • The opening sequence, including the music, is a reference to The Munsters:
    • Homer as Herman Munster
    • Marge as Lily Munster
    • Grampa as Grandpa Munster
    • Bart as Eddie Munster
    • Lisa as Marilyn Munster, the normal one.

G-G-Ghost D-D-Dad[edit]

Scary Tales Can Come True[edit]

Night of the Dolphin[edit]

Trivia[edit]

  • Snorky's statement that dolphins once lived on the land is actually true, as early cetaceans (dolphins and whales) had legs and lived like crocodilians. However, early cetaceans preceded the first appearance of humans in real life, and by the time the first humans appeared, all cetaceans have already evolved a permanently aquatic lifestyle.
