Ville de St. Capitulons is a village in France in Medal of Homer.
History
Bart and Homer were sent back to World War II, where they met a young Grampa and Mr. Burns in the army. Sergeant Simpson informed Homer and Bart about their mission: Germany planned to attack the French village Ville de St. Capitulons, which supplied snails to the French Army. Homer and Bart parachuted into the town, where they saw Üter throw a rock at a window, causing the French to surrender with white flags. Sergeant Simpson and Private Burns ordered them to remove the surrender flags scattered throughout the town. Private Burns suggested looting French paintings "for safekeeping".
