Seattle is a city in the state of Washington. The Space Needle is located in Seattle.

The Itchy & Scratchy episode "Skinless in Seattle" took place in Seattle at the Space Needle, where Scratchy went to meet his love interest but was attacked by Itchy, who escalated the violence from dropping objects off the tower to ultimately cutting off and dropping the top of the Space Needle onto him.[1]
During a lesson at Krusty's Clown College, Krusty the Clown taught students a list of supposedly funny place names to use in comedy routines, including Seattle, Walla Walla, Keokuk, and Cucamonga. While most of the class reacted normally, Homer Simpson found the name "Seattle" unusually hilarious and repeatedly burst into laughter after hearing it.[2]
"Diamond Joe" Quimby was once mayor of Seattle. He promised himself that after Seattle he'd "never doom another city".[3]
