Paul Newman is the mascot for Newman's Own Salad Dressing.

History

During Homer's remote work shift at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, he accidentally released radioactive gas after failing to properly operate the computer system. A farmer whose cornfield was damaged by the gas release blamed the incident, saying that Paul Newman would have his legs broken because of the impact on popcorn production.[1]

After Marge was fantasizing about Burly, Homer looked at the Newman's Own Salad Dressing only for Paul Newman to tell Homer that it wasn't going to happen.[2]

Behind the Laughter

In "Lost Verizon", the Newman's Own Salad Dressing bottle is shown in the end credits in a dedication to Paul Newman, who had died a few days before the episode aired.
