History[edit]

The televised boxing match The Bout to Knock the Other Guy Out, featuring Drederick Tatum and Watson, took place in Las Vegas.[1]

After losing money on pumpkin investments and falling behind on his mortgage, Homer Simpson called Las Vegas to place a gambling bet on red in a desperate attempt to recover financially. The gamble failed, worsening his debt problems and forcing him to continue searching for money through loans and extra work.[2]

The casinos in Las Vegas.
Ned and Homer visited the city after Homer tried to make Ned do more fun things, as Ned realized he had not lived a single day in his life. They visited some casinos, including Nero's Palace, and woke up the next day with a hangover. They soon found out that they had accidentally married two of the waitresses at the casino. They then tried to run away from them but got stopped by some of the acts performing in Vegas, like Ernst and Gunter and Drederick Tatum. They then got kicked out of the city.[3]
Las Vegas seen from far away [4]

The Loch Ness Monster was seen working at a casino in the city.[5]

Moe once took all his regular customers on a road trip to Las Vegas; however, Homer was unable to join them because he was forced to take Bart to a disciplinary camp.[6]

In the video the Las Vegas A's made to get Aeropos Walkov to move to their team, Walkov's face was displayed on the Sphere in Las Vegas.[7]

In 1962, Krusty was hired by Mort "The Murderer" Murderosi" to perform 1,000 shows at the Las Vegas casino Nero's Through, and quickly accepted the deal. He became the only entertainer in Las Vegas history to have his own slot machine, which occasionally paid out. Eventually, as the run ended, he moved on to Branson, Missouri, knowing that in show business, you have to adapt or fall behind.[8]

Behind the Laughter[edit]

Las Vegas is the most populated city in its state, Nevada and an internationally renowned major resort city for gambling, shopping and fine dining.

Along with the parody casinos with their own pages such as the Peacock and Dupes, one of the casinos seen in "Viva Ned Flanders" is a parody of the Mirage named the Oasis. In the real world Oasis was a secondary casino attached to Dunes.
