Cairo is the capital city of Egypt.

When Homer dreamed that he was in a world without beer, he and Lisa found out that beer was abundant in the time of Rumses IV. However, an incident involving a drunken man breaking the nose off Rumses' sphinx led to the pharaoh locking the recipe for beer away in his tomb in the Pyramid of Rumses IV. Homer and Mayor Barney Gumble traveled to Cairo to find the pyramid and the recipe.[1]
The Mummy comes from Cairo.[2]
