The komodo dragon is a pet owned by Peter Linz.
History[edit]
Peter Linz kept the komodo dragon in an enclosure in his mansion in New Zealand. While in a panic, Johnson Bryans fell into the glass of the enclosure, breaking it. The komodo dragon then escaped and attacked Bart. Professor Frink stepped in to save Bart, taking the wizard robes and staff Peter had on display. He fought off the komodo dragon and knocked it unconscious.
Frink took the komodo dragon back to his house and used the Komodo Dragon Translator on it. The komodo dragon spoke articulately and offered to share its poetry, medical breakthroughs, and deep understanding of the mathematics underlying reality with humanity, but he also wanted to eat Bart. He even offered to split eating Bart with Frink.
