The product was seen for sale at the Kwik-E-Mart alongside a number of other products, including Soylent Green, Soylent Brown, Moon Pies, Venus Pies, Saturn Pies, Venus-Maid Raisins, and Infra-Red Vines.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

The product is a parody of Hostess Fruit Pies, a product manufactured under the Hostess brand, and a references to the numerical symbol π.
