|
Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland.
History[edit]
Groundskeeper Willie once tried to tell a joke about golfers from North and South Edinburgh at the Springfield Elementary School talent show.[1]
Willie also once told Principal Skinner and Superintendent Chalmers about a coal miners' strike back in Edinburgh. According to him, no one made it out alive, "not even Willie".[2]

However, her family disapproved of Willie, so the two of them decided to run away to America together. However, Maisie's family told her that Willie had been killed by a sheep, so she never went to America with him. Years later, Willie and Maisie reconnected, and Willie went back to Edinburgh to get married to her.
