The boxes made at the Box Factory in Springfield were assembled in Flint.[1]
Flint was one of the bottom five cities on the list of the Top 300 Livable US Cities.[2]
When Lisa was searching the attic for her family tree school project, she came across a Bicentennial edition of Reader's Digest. One of the stories in the issue was "Flint, Michigan: City of Tomorrow."[3]
Mr. Burns went to Cletus's farm to swindle him out of the deposit of helium on his property, but Cletus insisted on sharing a drink before any business dealings and offered Mr. Burns some of his moonshine.
