Toronto is the largest city in Canada and provincial capital of Ontario.

History[edit]

After Greta Wolfcastle dumped Bart in favor of Milhouse, Bart decided to travel to Toronto, where Greta's father was shooting a movie, in an attempt to win back her love. Bart did not know Toronto was in Canada because when Greta first told him her father's movie was shooting in Toronto, he asked, "You're going to Spain?"[1]

Bart also did not know Toronto was in Canada during his "human interest" report on "Old Joe" for Kidz Newz.[2]

The Simpsons watched Marketing a Murderer, a true crime docuseries on Netflix. In the episode, the convict mentioned he had also been on House Hunters International, and the hosts were at the prison visitors' booth holding a listing for a house in Toronto.[3]

The Simpson family once moved to Toronto to escape an economic crisis in Springfield.[4]

When Bart tried to use his free carnival rides coupon from a Radioactive Man comic at a ticket booth, they told him that it was only valid in Zenith City. Bart then became angry and said to the cashier that Zenith City is like Metropolis, Gotham City, or Toronto—it doesn't really exist.[5]
