Massachusetts is one of the 50 states in the USA. The capital and largest city is Boston.
History
After getting run out of Florida, the Simpson family tried to decide where to go for their next vacation. They looked at a map of the US that had most of the states crossed out, which were apparently all the states that the Simpsons were no longer allowed to enter.[1]
The Simpsons went to Boston and the surrounding area in Massachusetts before deciding to move there.[2]
Lexington Common, where the first major battle of the American Revolution happened, was seen as Principal Skinner and Comic Book Guy relayed to Lisa the history of the hidden gem.[3]
