Miami Beach is a city in Florida. Despite the similar names and only a small borderline separating the two, Miami Beach is a distinct municipality from Miami.
History
Homer and Marge went to Miami Beach on a second honeymoon instead of going to Uncle Tyrone's birthday in Dayton. They stayed in the Swelldorado hotel. After the Dayton Arms hotel was destroyed and Marge rang up, Bart and Lisa realized something was up and went to Miami Beach with Grampa to find Homer and Marge.
Grampa went around looking for women while there. He angered them all and later met Raoul on the beach, who took Grampa back to his penthouse.
