While at the Simpson's house for a Mardi Gras party, Mayor Quimby gets a call from his wife. He then tells all the other guests to be quiet and pretend that the party is a trade seminar in Zurich. His plan fails however, as his wife was also at the party.
After Marge promised to put out the fire at Springfield Tire Yard during the mayoral debate, Lenny exclaims Springfield without a tire yard fire will make it just like Zurich.
