Uncivil War: Bartman v. Houseboy is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #232.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Mayor Quimby turns Springfield's super-heroes against one another when he offers a reward to costumed crusaders who reveal their secret identities, leading Bartman and Houseboy to take different sides in an "uncivil" war."
Plot[edit]
Houseboy is talking with Flossie. When he says that Bartman is his sidekick, Bartman overhears it and they start arguing. They find out that Clancy Wiggum is giving ice cream to all the super heroes who tell him their true identities. Houseboy tells him he is Milhouse, which does not make Bartman happy. With a little help from Houseboy, Clancy tries to get Bartman to reveal his identity but fails. Clancy lets Houseboy use an army so he can reveal Bartman's identity.
Bartman wants Lisa to help out as The Jazzler, but she has promised the Sax-Men not to do any solo gigs. The next night, Houseboy and his army get into a fight with Bartman, who only has Flossie to help. When Flossie finds out that Clancy has hired the children to help him reveal Bartman's identity, he reveals that he is the Blue-haired lawyer and stops him from doing it because it's a crime to make children work after 6PM on school nights. He then discovers that Houseboy and Bartman are friends again and they call themselves the Super Friends, which is copyrighted so all the superheroes begin chasing the lawyer.
