Location Information

Three Wise Men is a constellation.
History[edit]
During an early morning astronomy session near Springfield Elementary School, Principal Seymour Skinner showed Bart Simpson several constellations visible in the sky, including Orion, the Swan, and the Chariot Race. After Bart commented that the constellations did not look like the figures they were supposed to represent, Skinner explained that astronomy depended heavily on imagination. He later pointed toward another group of stars and referred to it as the Three Wise Men.
When Bart asked who named constellations, Skinner explained that the discoverers traditionally named them. He admitted that he had once hoped to discover something that would be named after him, but claimed another principal, Kahoutek, had reported the discovery first after reaching a telephone before he could.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
