TV Show Information

The Odd Couple is a comedy TV sitcom starring Mr. Teeny and David Hyde Pierce as Oscar and Felix, respectively.
History[edit]
Troy McClure promoted his new TV show Handle with Care, in which he played a retired cop living with a retired criminal, calling it "the original Odd Couple."[1]
When Homer and Principal Skinner had to share a hotel room, Skinner was shown picking up a cigar with the end of an umbrella. He then commented that they were like the original Odd Couple, with Homer as the messy one, but Homer told him to shut up before he could finish his sentence.[2]
When Krusty the Clown told Bart that Mr. Teeny was in a show with David Hyde Pierce, the scene then cut to Mr. Teeny's character (Oscar) throwing plates at David Hyde Pierce's character (Felix). The creator smiled and stated that it was just the way he wanted it as he watched the pair acting.[3]
