The Lucky Rag is a Simpsons Comics One-Shot Wonders story first printed in The Mighty Moe Szyslak #1.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Moe gets nostalgic over his lucky bar rag."
Plot[edit]
Carl points out that his beer glass is filthy, and Lenny tells Moe that he needs to get a dishwasher. Moe says that he doesn't need a dishwasher because he has his lucky rag. He then talks about all the things he and his bar rag have been through. Moe received the bar rag from Professor Huntington when he graduated from Swigmore University. He had the bar rag when he opened Moe's Tavern. He used the bar rag for sloppy pickled saps and to sop up pickled slop. He used the rag to clean up the biggest messes, as seen when his bar was flooded, and the smallest messes, when he used it as a diaper for Maggie. However, when he's done talking about the good times he's had with his rag, it disintegrates. Moe then goes to buy another bar rag from the 66¢ Depot.
