Synopsis[edit]

"Witness the Golden Age of Superheroes when "Radio Man" thwarts the pirating ways of "The Broadcast Buccaneers" as they plunder the airwaves."

Plot[edit]

On a radio show, Jake King introduces Josie Simone. However, she is kidnapped by Cap'n Bolt before she can sing. This is then reported on by Glenda Grand of WZEN News. Clarence Kane then decides to change into Radio Man and go find Cap'n Bolt before he kidnaps someone else. Radio Man arrives at Floyd Kelly and Socko's show where Cap'n Bolt attacks. Radio Man saves Socko but Cap'n Bolt gets away with Floyd. Bolt then goes on to kidnap several other radio personalities.

In an attempt to lure Cap'n Bolt in, Radio Man is interviewed by Glenda Grand. As the interview is underway, Cap'n Bolt attacks. Bolt and his pirates manage to catch Radio Man and Glenda and take them back to Cap'n Bolt's ship. Cap'n Bolt then reveals his plan, to put all the performers on TV rather than radio, so they can be seen and not just heard. Radio Man broadcasts everything to the police and then breaks free of the chains and defeats Cap'n Bolt. They unmask him to reveal that he is Curt Davis, WZEN's station manager. Radio Man then goes on the radio to say that he hopes society doesn't end up watching images in a box all day.
