The Big Ear Family is a comedy sketch show starring Krusty the Clown.
History[edit]
In an episode, Krusty walked into his house and announced to his wife that he was home. He then said that he had wax in his ears and he had better get them cleaned. Krusty the picked up a giant Q-tip and waited for the audience to laugh. When nobody did laugh, Krusty was unhappy and said that the show went on for twelve more minutes.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
The Big Ear Family could be a reference to either the Coneheads or The Widettes; the Coneheads being a family of aliens with large cone-shaped heads, and the Widettes being a family of people with abnormally-large rear ends.
