History[edit]
Homer and Marge were fans of the show and applied to the show 46 times, getting rejected each time. Eventually, they gave up, but still watched the show. After one season, which was won by Audrey and Hector Chang, an advertisement came on asking for people to apply to be on the show. Bart and Lisa kept pestering Homer and Marge to go on the show, not knowing that they had applied in the past. Marge eventually showed them the audition tapes, which Lisa edited together as a new audition for them. At the auditions, Bart and Lisa took the tape and showed it to the producers, who liked the sob story and accepted Homer and Marge into the show.
On day one of the show, the plane carrying the contestants arrived at The Amazing Place island. They were all told that they would go to Lover's Lagoon, right after their first challenge, "Suitcase Stowaway". Homer and Marge lost the challenge, getting "shelliminated" from the show. They were then told that they had to stay in the hotel, Courtyard by Airport, for the duration of filming.
At some stage of the show, Nick and Honey got eliminated after losing a three-legged race. Before the final challenge, Tag Tuckerbag went to the hotel to tell everyone that two people would re-enter the show, but they had to be from different couples. Marge chose to take Nick, who she had struck a friendship with. Marge and Nick entered the final challenge, "Mango Tango". They won, only to find out that Marge had missed a step in the recipe for the drinks, meaning they lost. The winners of the challenge were Shawn and Barry.
