Quotes[edit]

On the Star Wars wiki, they use quotes at the beginig of each article to better describe what they are talking about. I propse that we do this here. My suggestion for Homer ( this should be a dead give away): "D'oh!" -Lord vader1414 05:41, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

That sounds like a fine idea to me. If you feel up to doing it I say go ahead. Thai420 16:06, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
Okay then, will do! -Lord vader1414 17:04, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
One last thing. Should I also put quotes in to describe them? i.e. "Smithers, who is that blundering buffoon?"

"That's Homer Simpson, sir." -Mr. Burns to Wayland Smithers. Look like something we want to put in? -Lord vader1414 16:45, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

I think quotes are a good idea and that will work for him if we can't think of anything better that he usually says Thai420 17:48, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

maybe we should have two quotes for him, Do'h and MMM.... - Solar flue 01:21, June 10, 2008 (UTC)

Springfield's state Kingcjc 09:33, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

As it has been explained many times before, Springfield is not intended to reside in ANY specific state. The producers have said this themselves. Cornflake Mcpoppers 17:50, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Actually, its shown in the intro that Simpsons MAYBE!!! live near to Michigan or in Michigan, one article that supports me is The War of The Simpsons,The Joy of Sect and MANY others i can't remember.Vicyorus.03:14, December 9, 2009 (UTC)

Probably, as shown in The Simpsons Movie, Springfield lives near Nevada, Kentucky etc. ♣Epic Faz♣ 19:05, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

It says that after Lisa was born Homer torn our all but two strands of hair but thats wrong. He tore out all but four hairs. The hair around his head and three hairs on the top of his head. After he found out about Maggie he tore out one of the hairs on top of his head leaving him with the hairstyle he has today.

Jay or J?[edit]

I thought his middle name was J, not Jay. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 07:11, January 11, 2010 (UTC) I forget which episode, but its the one with the hippie juice guys Kingcjc 19:47, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

age[edit]

In the most recent episode that said his age (Moe Letter Blues) he said he was 39. The most recent one counts as the most canon --Smiley12 was here at 21:28, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
Are you sure? It says on various sites and in different media (aswell as the guide to Seasons 1-8, written by Matt Groening) that he is 36.    Effluvium    talk    contributions    email   23:01, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
As I said the most recent one counts as canon --Smiley12 was here at 23:04, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

Homer's new German voice actor[edit]

Hello everyone, I just wanted to say that Homer's old German voice actor Norbert Gastell deceased in November 2015. He voiced Homer from season 1 to 26. His new voice actor from season 27 on is Christoph Jablonka. Can anyone change that, please? Shiyo07 (talk) 15:00, October 10, 2017 (EDT)

Thanks for the heads up. It has been added. The Solar Dragon 15:03, October 10, 2017 (EDT)

Aliases[edit]

I noticed that the aliases section is missing "Alias Fakename" from the episode Specs and the City. The page is semi-protected so I'm writing here to request its addition. 176.24.29.69 07:13, September 22, 2018 (EDT)

Homer's Latin American Spanish voice[edit]

Humberto Vélez confirmed his return as the Latin American Spanish voice of Homer Simpson for Season 32. https://doblaje.fandom.com/es/wiki/Anexo:32%C2%AA_temporada_de_Los_Simpson#Personajes_principales

Humberto Vélez (seasons 1-15, since season 32) Víctor Manuel Espinoza (seasons 16-31) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.160.116.69 (talk) 22:20, July 9, 2021

As a Latin American viewer, this is great news. We can already hear his dubbing on the Marvel special. Apparently Mr. Jean intervened in the change, so thanks to him. --Simpsons88 (talk) 08:28, July 10, 2021 (EDT)
