The Strike Preparedness Kit is a kit to help students cope with school strikes.

When a teachers' strike closed Springfield Elementary School, Lisa Simpson relied on a "Strike Preparedness Kit" she had assembled in advance. The kit contained a math textbook, a photograph of the school, a recording of her teacher's classroom instructions, and cafeteria-style fish sticks. Created to help her maintain a sense of routine and continue learning during any interruption to classes, the kit reflected Lisa's strong dedication to her education and her desire to remain connected to school while classes were suspended.
