History

Rocky III vs. Clara Peller was an arcade game seen at Captain Blip's Zapateria. The game was played as a boxing match with the only playable characters being Rocky Balboa (controlled by player 1) and Clara Peller (controlled by player 2). While walking through the arcade, Bart stopped to inspect the game. He watched what appeared to be a title screen, in which the two characters moved back and forth inside a boxing ring while continuously spouting the same bits of dialogue, with Rocky saying, "You ain't so bad," and Clara Peller asking, "Where's the beef?"

Behind the Laughter

• The "You ain't so bad" quote is from Rocky's rematch fight with Clubber Lang in Rocky III.
• "Where's the beef?" was the catchphrase in the eponymous mid-1980s advertising campaign by Wendy's, which featured Clara Peller delivering the line.
