- Marge goes to the Power Plant to try and get her old job back. ("Marge Gets a Job") However, Gummy Joe got promoted to her old position. ("Last Exit to Springfield")
- Project Q, which was previously mentioned in The Amazing Colossal Homer, makes a physical appearance.
