The Quimby Barrelworks, formerly known as the Spanucci Barrelworks, is a factory in Slobtown, Springfield.

History

When Joe Quimby, Sr. was a young adult, he went to Spanucci Barrelworks to ask Rigatoni Spanucci for a job. Spanucci told him that he'd never hire an Irish person, then kicked him into a barrel, which rolled down the stairs. Quimby Sr. then made a corned beef sandwich, which he shoved down Spanucci's throat, choking him to death. Quimby then left a fake will on his body stating that he had left the Spanucci Barrelworks to his friend, Joe Quimby.
