History

The nuclear physics professor lectured about proton accelerators when Homer arrogantly interrupted, calling him "Professor Brainiac," and claimed he had worked in a nuclear power plant for ten years and knew how a proton accelerator worked. The professor remained calm and graciously invited Homer to demonstrate. Homer's demonstration caused another meltdown.
