HABF KABF

JABF is the nineteenth production season of The Simpsons. Al Jean served as the showrunner for the season. The episodes mostly aired in broadcast season 18 on Fox, with seven rollover episodes from the production season airing in broadcast season 19. The episodes aired from December 10, 2006 with "The Haw-Hawed Couple", to November 18, 2007 with "Husbands and Knives".

When Gil, as Costington's Santa Claus, gives Lisa the present that his boss intended to give to his daughter, Gil is fired. Taking pity on Gil, Marge invites him to stay with them over the holidays. However, Gil overstays his welcome by almost a year when Marge can't tell him "no."

Nelson invites the whole of Bart's class to his birthday, but Bart and Martin convince the others not to go. Bart is forced to go to Nelson's birthday by Marge, and ends up becoming friends with his bully. Meanwhile, Homer and Lisa enjoy reading the Angelica Button series together.

Marge reminisces about the time in her childhood when she vacationed at Barnacle Bay, but when the family visits, they find it has become a dump. After Homer accidentally burns down the town's pier, he is forced to repay his debts as a fisherman aboard The Rotting Pelican.

After extinguishing a city-wide fire, Bart is rewarded with a driving license. However, he gets tired of taking Homer everywhere, so he escapes and meets a teenage girl who falls in love with him. Meanwhile, Lisa claims she is a descendant of a fake Native American tribe for a school project.

After being cut off while driving, Homer decides he wants revenge. The family then offers three stories about why revenge may not always be a good thing. Marge retells The Count of Monte Cristo, Lisa tells a story about Milhouse getting revenge on the school bullies, and Bart tells a story about him becoming the superhero Bartman.

Homer becomes a paparazzo, taking embarrassing photographs of celebrities after he accidentally takes a photo of Duffman and Booberella together. However, when he angers Springfield's celebrities, they hire a paparazzo of their own and send him after Homer.

Declan Desmond films a documentary about the lives of people in Springfield and how they changed over the years. Due to looking bad in previous filming sessions, Homer makes Desmond believe he became rich and owns a mansion.

When Grampa falls in love with Selma, they move in together. Homer and Patty team up to break up the odd couple. Meanwhile, Bart and Lisa con a delivery man into giving them a large number of cardboard boxes, which they use to build a castle.

Lisa teaches the Spuckler children about culture, and soon Krusty hires them to act on The Krusty the Clown Show. They become famous and earn a lot of money, but Cletus spends it on himself. Meanwhile, Bart is forced to see a psychologist after he traumatizes the kids at school with a scary story.

Marge discovers the Internet and gets hooked on an online fantasy role-playing game called Earthland Realms, where she interacts with practically everyone in Springfield. But when she finds out that Bart is the fearsome Shadow Knight, she starts to mother him in the game. Meanwhile, Homer becomes a soccer referee, which strains his and Lisa's relationship when he calls fouls on her.

After missing a catch that would have won the Springfield Isotots a championship game, Bart becomes a pariah who is mocked and terrorized by the townspeople. His guilt and shame over the incident begin to take their toll on him. Meanwhile, Homer trades his and Marge's mattress to the Lovejoys, which ruins his and Marge's sex life.

When Santa's Little Helper saves Homer from a corn maze, he becomes a town hero and eventually becomes a police dog. But Bart's excitement for his dog is destroyed after Santa's Little Helper bites him and goes to live with the police. Bart gets a new pet, a snake called Strangles, as a replacement.

When Homer crashes into the Springfield Fire Department while under the influence of sleeping pills, the fire department get injured and end up in the hospital. The Springfield Volunteer Fire Department is created to replace them while they recover. However, the new volunteers begin stealing the property of the people they're supposed to be saving.

In a parody of 24, Bart joins Lisa in the Counter Truancy Unit to sabotage the school bullies' plan to set off a stink bomb at the school bake sale. However, their plans are undermined when it turns out there is a mole within the organization.

When Homer ends up on Kent Brockman's news program, he accidentally spills coffee on Brockman's lap, leading to him swearing on live television. Ned Flanders files a complaint that gets the news anchor fired. He then moves in with the Simpsons until they can figure out how to get his job back.

In "E.T., Go Home", Bart and Lisa come to the aid of Kodos, who is hiding from the government and wants to contact his homeworld. In "Mr. and Mrs. Simpson", Homer and Marge find out they are agents for rival organizations when Homer is sent to kill the target Marge is ordered to protect. In "Heck House", when Bart, Lisa, Milhouse, and Nelson pull pranks on the town, Ned Flanders decides to scare them straight by transforming the church into the "Heck House."

Coolsville, a new comic book shop, opens up in Springfield, with a cool owner named Milo. The shop's success puts Comic Book Guy out of business. Marge takes advantage of the vacant business space to open Shapes, a women-only gym, and becomes a famous and successful businesswoman. However, Marge's success causes Homer to worry about losing her and leads him to consider undergoing radical cosmetic surgery.

While receiving treatment for an injured back at the hospital, Homer discovers that he has a beautiful opera voice while lying on his back. Mr. Burns hires him to sing at the Springfield Opera House, where he quickly becomes a star. Through his newfound stardom, Homer develops a large throng of fans, including Julia, an obsessive and dangerous stalker.

While at the bank, a man named Dwight robs it. To get him to turn himself in, Marge promises to visit him in prison. However, when Marge doesn't follow through on this promise, Dwight breaks out to find her.

After Homer saves Mr. Burns from drowning in a mall fountain, Burns thanks him by taking him on a whirlwind trip to Chicago on his private plane. Homer is smitten with the luxury jet and all the perks that come with it. After returning home, Homer makes it his mission to find a job that offers him the chance to fly on a corporate jet and enlists a life coach to help fulfill this dream.

After his car gets towed in Guidopolis, Homer realizes he loves the idea of towing cars, so he gets a job as a tow truck driver. But when he starts towing almost every car in Springfield, the townspeople trick him into towing a car in a rival tow truck driver's turf. Louie kidnaps Homer as revenge.

When Kirk and Luann remarry and go on a honeymoon cruise, they topple off the boat into the sea and are presumed dead. This causes Milhouse to become darker and more gloomy, making him more popular than ever. Meanwhile, Homer finds himself in trouble when he can't remember Marge's eye color.
