Planet of the Apes is an American science fiction starring Charlton Heston.
Plot[edit]
During a NASA pre-mission press conference, Homer said he hoped they wouldn't be sent to "that dreaded Planet of the Apes." Then, suddenly realizing the movie's plot twist, he dropped to his knees and cried out in despair.[1]
When Nikki performed CPR on Bart, a scene from Planet of the Apes appeared, showing Taylor and Zira sharing a kiss.[2]
Behind the Laughter[edit]
The scene of the movie is a Simpsons-version of the film, Planet of the Apes (1968 film). The movie has been parodied several times in the series.
