Muumuu
The Muumuu is a Hawaiian dress that Homer wore after his weight gain.
Description[edit]
Homer's muumuu was light blue with big red flowers on it. He often wore the muumuu with a white hat, and when he went out, he put on a dark blue cape.
History[edit]
When Homer learned that if he weighed 300 pounds, he would be put on disability and be allowed to work from home, he set out to deliberately gain enough weight to end up at over 300 pounds. After a days-long eating binge, he succeeded with 15 pounds to spare. To celebrate, Homer went clothes shopping at The Vast Waistband to buy a new outfit for his first day of working from home. After hearing the store's range of selections "for the ample gentleman", Homer chose to buy a muumuu because he didn't want to look like a weirdo.[1]
The muumuu appeared again in the Simpsons attic.[2]
