Macguffium has a radioactive half-life twice that of uranium, and an explosive force four times that of plutonium. It is highly concentrated so enough macguffium to blow up a city could fit inside a Kool-Aid packet.
History[edit]
Bart was hired as a secret agent by the Junior Undercover Missions Program to track down who was creating macguffium in Springfield. Bart was given special glasses that could see the traces of macguffium so he could follow it to the source. Bart and Lisa eventually found that Mr. Burns was making it in the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and the two of them put a stop to the operation and returned to S at J.U.M.P.
However, since the whole organization of J.U.M.P. was part of a school program, it's likely that macguffium was also fake.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
The name "macguffium" is a reference to a MacGuffin, a plot device in stories.
