Book Information

Larry Snotter and the School for Monsters is a book that is banned in Springfield.
History[edit]
Krusty asked the children to buy Larry Snotter and the School for Monsters on his TV show. This led to Bart and Lisa wanting the book, and Bart got hold of the last copy of the book but couldn't be bothered to read it, so he gave it to Lisa. Bart then went to the playground where he discovered that everyone was reading the book and no one had time to play with him, so he decided to get them to stop reading the book. He went home and watched Krusty, who only babbled on about the book. After the broadcast, Krusty was furious as the audience was reading the book during the whole airing, and when he left the studio, he met Bart. When Bart realized that Krusty also hated the book, he asked him to get the book banned by going on Smartline. On Smartline, Ned talked about why the book should be banned and Krusty admitted to being "defeated" and that they would arrange a burning of the books in Springfield. Lisa tried to stop the ban, but failed. Later, Milhouse asked Lisa if Bart could come out and play with him, but he was only interested in the book since they banned it.
