Jerry the Cowboy is a constellation.

History

While spending the evening outdoors, Homer and Pepi admired the night sky together. Pepi expressed an interest in learning about the constellations and asked Homer to identify them. Homer, apparently unfamiliar with their actual names, invented names for two of them, identifying them as "Jerry the Cowboy" and "Alan the Cowboy," the latter referring to the prominent Big Dipper.
