History

In the future, when marijuana had become legalized all over the USA, Bart became a marijuana CEO and sold his own brand of marijuana.

Behind the Laughter

The name "High Carumba" is a reference to Bart's catchphrase "Ay caramba!" The slogan "Smoke my shorts!" is a reference to Bart's other catchphrase, "Eat my shorts!"
