Ghøst Bashers is a story first printed in The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror #22.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Something's really strange in the neighborhood when the Ghost Bashers come to town."
Plot[edit]
Mr. Burns and Waylon Smithers are visiting the Nuclear Plant Library to empty the room because no one uses it anymore. It turns out then that Waylon Smithers Sr. ghosts are where he sprays ectoplasmic ooze on Burns. Homer gets meanwhile a visit from Frank Grimes as empty the entire donut box which he does not like. After Burns is washed, he make Lenny, Carl and Homer to remove the ghosts.
Homer, Carl and Lenny are visiting Professor Frink showing them The Particle Baton to subdue the apparitional individualists. The group decide to bash the ghosts under the name The Ghostbashers. After bashing ghosts for a week, they are tired of it because it's too many. Burns telling they are so many because the plant are build on the ruins of an ancient temple to the olds goods. Frink realizes that it was the temple of She of the Unpronounceable Name and they have to stop her before she is going to destroy all life.
The female Ghostbashers are coming and wants to help but they want them. The Ghostbashers are visiting the cellar of the plant and they are caught by She of the Unpronounceable Name. She asking them to choose the form of the destructor. Frink trying them to think of nothing but Homer does it anyway and a big Lard Lad mascot begins to destroy Springfield. They run out from the plant and Homer begins to bite the mascot and manage to break one of Lard Lad's leg.
The mascot can't not stand on one leg and crashes on the plant. Burns has become a ghost and is happy because he not have to pay them now The Ghostbashers starts to bash him then.
