The Holy Bible is the family Bible owned by Ned and Maude Flanders. It serves as a record of important events in the family's history.

After discovering that Bart, Lisa, and Maggie Simpson had never been baptized, Ned Flanders resolved to perform the ceremony himself. As he led the children into the Springfield River, he declared that the occasion would mark "a new page in the Flanders Family Bible," indicating that the baptisms would be recorded in the volume. Before the ceremony could be completed, however, Homer and Marge Simpson arrived and interrupted the proceedings.
