"Field of Screams" is an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show.

Plot

The short begins with Scratchy and his son, Scratchy, Jr., peacefully playing catch with a baseball in a wheat field. Itchy unexpectedly shows up with his son Itchy, Jr., driving a combine harvester tearing apart the field. Scratchy and Scratchy Jr. met their bloody demise as they are being torn apart by Itchy's combine harvester's blades. The cartoon finishes with Itchy and Itchy Jr. using decapitated Scratchy's head for their game of catch.

Reaction

After the cartoon ended, Krusty the Clown, who had been missing his estranged father, tearfully talked about how happy Itchy Junior and Scratchy Junior looked playing with their fathers, then broke down crying on camera.

Trivia

• Unlike in most cartoons, Itchy is depicted with a yellow nose instead of a black nose.
• This is the first appearance of Scratchy, Jr. and the only appearance of Itchy's son, Itchy, Jr..
