Escarbro' was a skincare company founded by Gary Chalmers.
History[edit]
When Gary Chalmers was cleaning the tunnels beneath the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, he was attacked by giant snails. When he went home, he found himself covered in snail slime, which Shauna told him was a useful beauty product. Chalmers then went to Mr. Burns with a proposal to start a new skincare brand using the slime. The company became an overnight success due to its advertising campaign of using common men, and Chalmers became rich.
Chalmers was unhappy to find how underhanded some of the tactics employed by his company were, such as making the "cancel subscription" button on the website hard to find. When he found out that high schoolers were using the product, despite it not being marketed for kids, he became concerned. When he went back to Springfield Elementary School to give a speech to the students, he was horrified to find so many students were using the skincare product. Chalmers then announced that he had bought the school at auction and reinstated himself as Superintendent before he banned the skincare products.
Homer, Lenny, and Carl fed the snails Chippos and Duff Beer, which killed them all, including Claudia.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
The company name is a portmanteau of "escargot" and "bro."
