Dude vs. Food is a reality television show.

Homer watched an episode of Dude vs. Food where Thad ate ten buckets of fried chicken skin served on top of a smash burger the size of a laser disk. A few months later, Homer watched another episode at Moe's Tavern. This episode featured Thad in Des Moines, Iowa, where he ate a bowl of the spiciest ramen in the city. After eating some noodles, Thad had to dunk his head in a barrel of milk. He then went back to eating the ramen. At the end of the episode, Thad announced that he would do the next episode at Luigi's in Springfield, where he would eat a 17-pound meatball.
On October 10, filming of the episode began with several townspeople showing up to watch. However, when Thad came out of the kitchen, he looked extremely ill. Despite being ill, Thad tried to record the show but only managed to scrape part of the meatball off with his teeth before he collapsed. The producer for Dude vs. Food said that after 400 episodes shot over two months, Thad was finally full. As Homer held Thad, Thad told him that this time it looked like food had beaten dude.
