D'oh! Unto Others is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #92.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Bart pulls a prank on the entire town and discovers that the people he punked can be a lot more forgiving than he ever imagined -- and now he has them right where he wants them. Suckers!"
Plot[edit]
Bart finds out that Lisa is doing research on bed bugs. Lisa tells Bart that they have no purpose and they eat human blood. They make their nests in clothes and the only way to get rid of them is to freeze them or burn them to death. Bart decides to fool Springfield into thinking that he and all the other inhabitants of the town had bed bugs, and they are all forced to burn their clothes and walk around naked with a barrel covering their body. Bart laughs as everyone walks around naked, but when Lisa sees that Bart has all his clothes left, he admits that he pulled a prank on the city. Lisa tells on Bart and the judge sentences Bart to be naked with a barrel for one hour. It starts to rain, and the residents feel sorry for Bart and give him shelter. Lisa is not happy about that, because it's not right. Bart promises her that he will never pull any pranks on the city again. However, Bart breaks his promise and soon forces everyone in Springfield to shave off their hair. When it is discovered that Bart is at it again, he is forced to shave off his hair, too.
