Coca-Cola, or Coke, is a popular soft drink.
History[edit]
Bart Simpson jokingly questioned his mother about her new responsibilities as a police officer. During breakfast, he asked whether she would risk her life to protect a Coca-Cola vending machine if someone tried to shoot it. Marge replied that she would not, explaining that her duty was to protect people rather than property.[1]
After getting stuck in Knoxville, Tennessee, Bart and three friends tried to sell Milhouse's glasses to a pawn shop in an attempt to get enough money to get back home. The pawnbroker was delighted by the glasses, saying that he could use them to "re-bottom" his antique Coke bottles. Before he gave them the cash however, Milhouse knocked over the bottles, breaking them. The pawnbroker then put the money back, leaving the boys once again with out a way to get home.[2]
