- Dr. L. Bastinado says that she sometimes smiles knowingly at Garrison Keillor's observations.
- Lenny asks Krusty if he ever met Barbara Eden. Krusty said that he cream-pied her at an award show once. Carl then said that Jeannie kicked Krusty's butt, referencing the show I Dream of Jeannie, which Eden starred in.
- Krusty's office has Garfield comic strips in.
