- Lisa asking Grampa if the shoe tree brings him joy is a reference to Marie Kondo's tidying method of keeping those things that spark joy.
- Bart exclaims "Oh, my god, are you there? It's me Margaret." referencing Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret.
- Mrs. Peyton wears a Pulp Fiction shirt.
- Bart and Milhouse play a parody of Mortal Kombat using a controller similar to Xbox's.
- At Luigi's, the sign says "Like DoorDash but in a restaurant".
- Homer indirectly references Mark Davis mentioning weird people owning Las Vegas Raiders.
- Bart says that Buddy is into MeatCanyon videos, doing wrestling moves on the dog and pouring Red Bull on pancakes.
