Are You Duff Enough? is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #232.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Duff Industries develops a new energy drink, and with a new marketing campaign comes the need for a new mascot. Oh yeah! It's Homer Simpson's time to shine."
Plot[edit]
In honor of the new Duff Energy Drink, the Duff Corporation is hosting The Dufftastic Marathon Chug-A-Lug Challenge. Homer is one of the contestants. Duffman finds out that the winner will represent the new Duff and he thinks it should be him, so he joins the challenge as Mr. E. Competitor. The contest begins: the one who does not have the energy is out. They compete in several party games and the last competition is between Competitor and Homer. Both are tired but Homer falls asleep first, which means that Competitor wins. He reveals that he is Duffman, which everyone already knew. Bart and Lisa are happy that Homer let Duffman win after he "pretended" to fall asleep. Duffman soon finds out that they would not take him away; they would just have the new mascot for a week. Duffman is happy and does his two assignments with pride: Duffman and Duff Energy Drink mascot.
