History[edit]
When Krusty was a child, Ned Flanders became a new student in his class. Krusty was a good student who did extra credit work, while Ned was a bad boy who pulled pranks. Ned showed Krusty the Acme Super Whoopie Cushion before using it when Agnes Skinner sat down at her desk. Ned then threw the whoopie cushion to Krusty and told him to hide it.
After Ned was sent to the principal's office, the class missed his antics. Noticing this, Krusty decided to use the whoopie cushion himself, causing the class to laugh. This led to Krusty becoming a clown, and he continued using the same whoopie cushion throughout his career.
